Q: What do you like most about bartending?
A: I’ve always been a people person, so I really love the social aspect of bartending. At many of our events, the host will have friends and family who’ve traveled in from different parts of the country and even other countries. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
Q: How would you describe your customers?
A: My guests never fit into a square box. I have worked for just about everyone. From graduation parties, birthday parties, and anniversaries, to baby showers, weddings, and corporate events – every event has a different vibe. We are happy to serve any type of event in the entire Pittsburgh region.
Q: What experience do you have in bartending?
A: I’ve been bartending for over 12 years. I have bar, nightclub, VIP private events, and restaurant experience. I love to work hard individually and with my team.
Q: What alcohol safety training or certifications do you have?
A: Everyone that works for my company is TIPS Certified and RAMP CERTIFIED. Additionally, Elite Bartending & Staffing is fully insured and prior to an event we meet with the coordinator and discuss the event’s policy on alcohol and strictly adhere to the rules.
Q: What’s your favorite drink to make?
A: A classic Mojito is my favorite drink to make! It smells amazing and has a beautiful presentation.

Q: Would you say you have a signature style when it comes to making drinks?
A: I really love being creative and mixing up new ingredients when people are indecisive about what they are having. I have had many guests say, “Just make me something great!” So, I dive into my creative bartending skills and create something from scratch. From that point forward, the drink becomes their own personalized signature libation. All night long guests will come back to the bar and ask for the “Jessica” or the “Christopher.” My job is not only to mix up cocktails, it’s also to serve fun and entertainment.
Q: What made you start your own company?
A: I have just as much of a passion for entrepreneurship as I do bartending. I’ve always wanted the freedom that owning a company brings. So, I combined my two loves and brought Elite Bartending & Staffing to life.
